Off-gassing and timing
Even low-VOC paints off-gas during the cure window. Paint nurseries 2–4 weeks before the baby moves in, with windows open and a fan running for the first week. Don't paint with the baby in the room or in the next room over.
FAQ
Is one accent wall enough?
For a small room, yes — one accent wall in a softer color does more than four walls in a single bold color. The other three walls in a calm off-white keep the room from feeling busy.
